The possibilities are limitless! Our SmartMotor™ suite of products provide a wide range of capabilities, sizes, and functionality, all offering the flexibility and power of our fully-integrated, closed loop servo technology. The Animatics development team can work with you to design and produce a creative solution to all of your motion control needs.
The Animatics SmartMotor has internal, non-volatile memory that allows for programs to be downloaded from a host computer and saved to the SmartMotor. An entire system’s tuning and performance parameters can be saved and replicated from the first to the last axis. All input, output, and internal status information is accessible through defined variables for program monitoring and control.

Up to 100 axes of SmartMotors can be networked together through a variety of field buses, including RS485, ProfiBus, and DeviceNet. SmartMotors can communicate with serially addressable devices on the network; for example, intelligent peripherals such as light curtains, bar code readers, and absolute encoders.
