AxisMidwest.com provides our vendors with a live window into our order processing system.  As soon as our staff enters a customer's order, the order is instantly available for on-line viewing.  All vendors receive a unique username and password which allows you to login and view live point-of-sale report at any time.  In addition, you can configure the AxisMidwest.com website to automatically e-mail you point-of-sale reports at specified frequencies (e.g. once per day, once per week, once per month, etc.). 

Each point of sale report includes: order date, customer name, customer contact information, part numbers, part quantities, sell prices, and total order price.  Additional data may be easily included by request.  To view a sample report for a single order, click here.

AxisMidwest.com also provides a live window into our unique quoting software!  If someone on our staff generates a quote with one of your part numbers on it, you will be able to instantly view the quote online!  The online quote will include: the quote number, customer name, customer contact information, quoted part numbers, part quantities, quoted prices, and quote total.  To view a sample quote, click here.

Once again, you can configure AxisMidwest.com to automatically e-mail quote reports to you at specified frequencies (e.g. once per day, once per week, once per month, etc.), or you can login to our site to view the reports at your convenience.

By providing open access to our quoting system, we seek to foster a sense of cooperation with our vendors.  It helps our staff ensure that are quotes are free of mistakes, and it helps your sales staff ensure that your leads are being followed up on and that Axis is doing a good job of pulling through the full range of your products.

Automatic Price List and Lead Time Synchronization

If your company has an on-line pricelist (e.g. a pricelist that is available through a company 'extranet' or 'intranet'), AxisMidwest.com can be programmed to automatically download your pricelist on a nightly basis to ensure that your business and our business stay perfectly synchronized.  Your downloaded pricelist will be automatically incorporated into our quoting software and our order processing system at the start of each morning.  This helps us ensure that we are always issuing quotes and placing orders with accurate prices, and it eliminates our need to constantly telephone your customer service department to prevent and/or correct discrepancies! 

Our website can be synchronized with any MySQL or MSSQL database!  Other database formats may be synchronized by request.

Automatic Lead Generation

Unlike typical distributor websites which only contain 10 - 20 pages, AxisMidwest.com contains thousands of pages which have been custom-designed to score highly in online search results (e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN).  As a result, our site receives a substantial number of visitors each day who are searching for terms such as: motion control, machine vision, PLCS, sensors, etc.  When a new visitor arrives at our site, our proprietary "geo-location" algorithm automatically determines the visitors location within the United States and then determines which search terms the visitor used to arrive at our site. 

Our website allows the visitor to view up to 10 pages without entering any contact information.  After the 10th page, the site prompts the user to enter his/her e-mail address.  Once the e-mail address is entered, the user may continue perusing the site, and an online lead is generated.  If the visitor is located within your territory (as determined by the geo-location algorithm), and if the search terms are relevant to your business, the lead will be automatically e-mailed to you.  The lead will contain the following information: the visitor's location, the visitors e-mail address, the pages viewed on our site, and the search term that brought them to our site.  In addition, the lead information will be logged with a date-stamp and time-stamp and stored in your vendor control panel for later review!

Automatic E-Mail Marketing with E-Mail Tracking

As an Axis vendor, you will have full access to our unique marketing interface which allows you to create beautiful HTML e-mails and send them to the Axis customer base.  E-mails may be used to announce new products, special promotions, upcoming events, and more!

Each e-mail is embedded with a tracking id which allows us to monitor who opens the e-mail and which links are clicked by the recipient.  All tracking information is delivered to you via e-mail and also available for online viewing at AxisMidwest.com.  To view a sample HTML e-mail and e-mail it to yourself, click here.

Vendor Management of Online Content

All Axis vendors receive a username and password which they can use to login to a secure "vendor control panel" on AxisMidwest.com.  Using this control panel, each vendor can manage their content on our website (e.g. products, press releases, upcoming events, etc.).  If you want to advertise a new product, for instance, simply login and advertise it!  You'll be prompted to type in a product name and product description and then upload a picture of the product.  It's that easy!

Each new posting will be prominently displayed on the appropriate pages of AxisMidwest.com.  New products go in our product directory... upcoming events go in our events directory, etc.  In addition, we'll e-mail all of your new postings to our customers in the monthly Axis newsletter.

Our "vendor management" feature allows your sales engineers to become true entrepreneurs - with no training, they can: create beautiful web pages, design online marketing campaigns, advertise upcoming events, and more!
